Ronda Romántica – Program of Events – May 11-13, 2023
“The history of Ronda is full of moments that deserve to be remembered and celebrated for the mark they have left on our land, making our city and its Serranía a place marked by a unique historical, cultural, and artistic richness in the world. Ronda Romántica allows us to make an exciting journey through time to discover how our ancestors forged the legendary land that we can now boast of. Men and women who wrote the history of our territory in a passionate, dedicated, even warrior way, being an example of staunch defense of what defines us as Ronda and Serrano.”
“That is why we want Ronda and its Serranía to live it with all its intensity, and we have prepared a program of activities that will allow us to enjoy it, but also to get to know that past up close, from which we can learn to continue forging our future. It has been months of work by many groups, institutions, municipalities, men, and women who firmly believe in the union of a whole territory with a common goal: to value everything that is ours, what has identified us since ancient times and allows us to present ourselves to the whole world as a unique land of deep-rooted traditions. From here, I want to invite everyone to make Ronda Romántica as great as it deserves.”(Mª Paz Fernández Lobato – Mayor of Ronda)
