The Via Verde beginning at Olvera is one of the most popular cycling and walking routes of the Sierra de Cadiz. 36 kilometres of disused railway converted to a delightful greenway with spectacular views, tunnels, viaducts, and pristine countryside to explore.

An exciting day for cyclists as one of the world’s greatest cycling events, La Vuelta de España comes to Ronda in stifling heat before making their ascent and descent to Marbella

70 bicycles located in electronic hiring points were today opened to the public, requiring easy registration with the Town Hall or Tourism Office, and allowing easy pick up and drop off at 7 locations around the city.

Ronda will soon join other major cities in providing bicycles for hire from dedicated points around the city. Expectations are that 70 bikes will be offered from 4 points around the city.

Bjorn Heidenstrom, former Norwegian International footballer, cycled into Ronda on his journey from Norway to South Africa to raise awareness for refugees.
