Restaurants and Tapas in Ronda

Eating out in one of Ronda’s many restaurants is most likely going to be one of the most enjoyable parts of your stay, and after a long day seeing the sites and museums of Ronda, or walking the hillsides and mountains of the Serranía, who could blame you for wanting a great dinner, a glass of wine or beer, and the company of friends or fellow travellers.

There are so many restaurants in Ronda one never needs to feel lost for choice, although here in the Serranía de Ronda most restaurants serve traditional Rondeño food, food from wider Andalusia and the Mediterranean, and just to add variety, some even offer other Spanish favourites, such as blends of foods from Northern Spain, or from Other Spanish speaking countries, Argentina and Colombia amongst them.

International foods are however available in many of the hotel restaurants. Of course, Ronda is also blessed with many Italian restaurants, a few Asian restaurants, and a few fast food burger and pizza restaurants.

Most of Ronda’s restaurants are located within an easy 10-15 minute walk of the Plaza de Toros, though some, are out a bit further, or even outside the city altogether in the country area known as the campo by Rondeños. We mention in our notes if a restaurant will require driving or ordering a taxi. Taxis in Ronda to all of the restaurants listed on this page are very affordable, only a few Euros, so take advantage of the service, we’re sure it will be worthwhile.
