The Hotel El Horcajo at Montecorto, around 20 minutes drive north of Ronda, is a unique place to stay as it is still a working farm though the owners take great care to ensure that farm duties don’t interfere with guest enjoyment.

The historic city of Ronda is just 20 kilometers from this picturesque hotel, allowing guests of the hotel to easily visit some of the popular attractions including the bullring, Puente Nuevo, Arab Baths, Palacio Mondragon and Ronda’s historic Moorish quarter.

The Grazalema Natural Park, in which the hotel is located is considered one of the most precious eco-systems of Andalucía, and is home to numerous endemic wild flowers and insects, as well as being a sanctuary for reptile and other fauna, and a major nesting or feeding area for migratory birds.
